With a background in Human Physiology and Psychology, she earned top honours in her academic pursuits, including an Honours degree in Psychology. Meghann's educational philosophy centres on fostering inclusive, student-centred approaches that unlock each individual's potential for learning. ​Her commitment to lifelong learning led her to pursue simultaneous degrees in Psychology and Educational Psychometry, followed by advanced training at Columbia University in New York. Recently, she expanded her expertise with a certificate in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning in Further Education and Training (FET), positioning herself at the forefront of educational innovation. ​Meghann's mission transcends traditional teaching methods; she aims to empower students to believe in their limitless capabilities. As a researcher and mentor, she guides students with empathy and unwavering support, shaping their educational journey towards success.

The school's ethos is centred on empowering students to drive their own learning journey while embracing their unique identities. Before founding The Green School, Nicole refined her expertise as an educator at an American International School and through active involvement in international teacher training conferences. These experiences underscored the significance of delivering a comprehensive education that extends beyond traditional classroom boundaries. ​Nicole holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, providing her with the necessary knowledge and tools to craft a supportive, immersive, and impactful learning environment.

Read more about Cate Cate is a dedicated early childhood educator with extensive experience in diverse local and international settings, including work with gifted children, those with special needs, and students in hospital settings. Her multicultural background provides insight into the challenges faced by "third culture kids." She holds qualifications from Witwatersrand Teachers Training College and the University of Johannesburg, including a B. Prim Ed in Early Childhood Inclusion from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. ​For 17 years, Cate has taught Pre-K following the American International School Curriculum. She is a certified Handwriting Without Tears Curriculum Specialist and proficient in differentiated learning for English Language Learners. ​Emphasizing play in child development, Cate creates a nurturing classroom environment focused on inquiry-based learning. Her teaching builds strong foundations in reading, writing, math, and social skills, promoting collaboration among school, parents, students, and teachers to support each child's learning journey.

With a profound interest in psychology, education, and children, she aims to make a significant and genuine contribution to the lives of today's youth. Liza-Mari's strength lies in collaborating with parents, caregivers, teachers, and children, offering guidance, support, and understanding tailored to each individual's unique development and circumstances. She adopts a client-centered approach to meet the diverse needs of every individual she encounters, believing in their capacity to actualize their optimal potential and become the best versions of themselves. Additionally, Liza-Mari is proficient in conducting comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to identify and address learning barriers within various systems, including the individual, family, school, and community. Moreover, she is trained in career counseling and school-readiness assessments.

She is passionate about fostering inclusive learning environments where all students can thrive, leveraging pedagogical insights to create engaging experiences, including learning through play. ​Continuously refining her skills, Jenna completed the Writing Institute at Teachers College - Reading and Writing Project and received training from Care for Education and The LEGO Foundation on learning through play, earning levels 1, 2, and 3 certifications. She is also proficient in Six Bricks and Tinkering, with Level 1 and 2 certifications. ​Jenna's teaching philosophy revolves around the belief in every child's inherent potential, echoing Dr. Seuss's sentiment: "Children want the same things we want: To laugh, to be challenged, to be entertained, and delighted."

Kirsty-Leigh Becker

Read more about Kirsty Kirsty is a devoted full-time art educator and artist fueled by her love for creativity and teaching. After earning her Bachelor's in Education in 2017, she spent four rewarding years at Crawford Rivonia before fully dedicating herself to her art practice in 2019, just before the Covid-19 pandemic hit. Despite the challenges, Kirsty authored seven children's drawing books and built an online clientele, teaching students of all ages. With the pandemic waning, she fulfilled her dream of opening her own studio. ​ As a self-taught mixed media and sketch artist, Kirsty embraces a contemporary approach while incorporating elements of fine art. She's passionate about eco art, using recycled materials to inspire sustainable practices in young minds. ​ Specializing in bold abstract art, Kirsty creates large-scale pieces bursting with colour and expression, often featuring animals, flowers, and faces. ​ Eager to continue her journey as an artist and educator, Kirsty looks forward to sharing her passion for art and nurturing creativity in others.

Rochelle Hicks

Read more about Rochelle Rochelle, with a National Diploma in Musical Theatre from TUT and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from UNISA, boasts a rich history in South Africa's theatre scene. She graced the stages of Civic Theatre and Victory Theatre, from Janice Honeyman's pantomimes to her role as Magenta in the Rocky Horror Picture Show. ​ Beyond her theatrical endeavours, Rochelle has lit up corporate events, including the Salsa Show at Monte Casino. Transitioning to a new chapter, she now finds fulfilment leading worship and contributing to the music department at her church, using her talents to uplift others. ​ In 2005, Rochelle co-founded Beyond the Stage Door Performing Arts Academy with her husband, who has a global tour under his belt with the "Mystery Plays". Notably, in 2011, they led a group of young performers to New York City, collaborating with industry icons like Ariana Grande and Broadway luminaries. ​ Rochelle's true passion lies in nurturing talent. She is dedicated to helping students unearth their gifts and express themselves through music, drama, and dance, fostering growth and self-discovery.
